Our commitment to exceptional service sets us apart in the industry. About the Role As a Grocery Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our grocery department. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service, is detail-oriented, and possesses the ability to multitask effectively. You should also be proactive and capable of following through on tasks in a timely manner. An emphasis on maintaining shelf availability and a strong desire to minimize stockouts through established processes will make you an ideal fit for this position. In this working supervisory role, you will collaborate with a dedicated and motivated team that takes pride in the quality of produce and service we offer our customers. Your main responsibilities will include: - Directing and supervising the team during both day and night shifts in the absence of the Grocery Manager - Identifying items that require replenishment and ensuring shelves and displays are stocked - Assisting in achieving key performance indicators related to stock availability and service - Maintaining a safe work environment, as the well-being of our people is paramount - Training and developing team members on effective processes - Building attractive displays to enhance the shopping experience - Managing the out-of-stock process and striving to meet targets - Providing support to customers and assisting the Grocery Team and Senior Management - Ensuring all departments maintain appropriate store display standards Requirements This role is best suited for candidates who have prior experience in grocery or retail supervision, possess excellent communication skills, and can lead by example. You should be a team player with high presentation standards and a positive "can do" attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
