About the Role
We are looking for a patient-care focused individual for the Administrative role primarily based in the Rangiora Sexual Health Clinic. This position may also involve covering administrative duties at Te Aka Tauawhi Tangata Women's Clinic, as needed, within our Sexual and Reproductive Health services.
About the Team/Service/Location
The Rangiora Sexual Health Clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive sexual health care to our local community. In this role, you will serve as a vital support within our existing administrative team, providing administrative and reception support in the clinic. Often, you will be the first point of contact for patients, offering essential assistance to our doctors and nurses, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.
In the Women's Clinic, your administrative responsibilities will encompass support for various services, including abortion care, miscarriage care, amniocentesis clinic, preterm birth clinic, and the LARC (Long-Acting Reversible Contraception) clinic. Your contributions will be crucial in facilitating the daily operations of these clinics.

About You
As an Administrator within our Sexual and Reproductive Health team, it is essential that you possess the ability to work empathetically with a diverse range of individuals in sensitive and often challenging situations. This role requires a high level of respect for individuals, their privacy, and confidentiality.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Self-motivation and a team-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills, both with patients and within the team
- Proficient computer skills in the Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with health-specific software such as iPM, RCP, Winscribe, and Indici is preferred
