    Description

About the Company At MindFull Support, we pride ourselves on being a kaupapa-driven organization that places a strong emphasis on values, integrity, and genuine human connections. Our team of youth support workers operates without hierarchy, ensuring that every voice is heard and respected. We are dedicated to supporting youth and each other, fostering an environment where authenticity and collaboration thrive. About the Role As a Youth Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in our community. Your contributions will not only be acknowledged, but they will also shape the future of our organization. We offer a supportive work environment where you have the autonomy to lead your own day while being backed by a team that values debriefing, reflection, and collective growth. Our approach includes generous shifts of 48 to 72 hours that allow for meaningful time off each week. You will benefit from standard access to counselling, clinical, and cultural supervision, ensuring that your well-being is prioritized. We believe in fostering a workplace where ideas from team members are valued and where micromanagement is nonexistent. Instead, our office team is here to support you in your work. Requirements To be successful in this role, we are looking for individuals who: - Have experience working with youth, particularly in mental health, disability, or high-needs settings. - Understand and practice trauma-informed care. - Bring cultural competency that respects and honors Māori and Pasifika rangatahi. - Know how to maintain boundaries while providing supportive space. - Are calm during crises, reflective in their practice, and collaborative in nature. - Want to contribute to a kaupapa that is actively changing the care system for the better. In addition, you will need: - A full driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (with current Warrant of Fitness and registration). - A Level 3 or higher qualification in youth work or health. - Legal authorization to work in Aotearoa. - Availability for 24-hour shifts, ideally committing to one or two shifts per weekend and one weekend shift every second weekend. Benefits Working at MindFull Support offers you the chance to be part of a distinct and passionate team. We receive over 100 applications each month, but we are selective in our hiring process, ensuring that every new team member aligns with our values and contributes positively to our culture. If this sounds like a place where you would thrive, we invite you to apply by April 20. We look forward to having an open and straightforward conversation with you.
