    About the Company At Spectrum Care, we are dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in living fulfilling lives within their communities. Our committed team works tirelessly to enhance the quality of life for those we serve, creating opportunities for positive outcomes and personal growth. About the Role We are currently seeking a full-time Regional Community Facilitator for our Aspirations Service, based at our Head Office in Central Auckland. This is a fixed-term position with full-time hours, expected to last until July 19, 2025, and there is a strong likelihood of extending the contract for an additional year. In this role, you will collaborate with individuals and their support networks to establish and achieve personal goals. You will play a key role in identifying community opportunities that align with each individual's needs, facilitating relationships with educational providers, and enhancing pathways to higher education and community inclusion. Additionally, you will work to secure volunteer and employment placements for those we support. You will also be responsible for assisting our Aspirations centres in developing educational and skills-based programmes. Your focus will be on increasing the educational value of these programmes and recruiting volunteers to support their implementation. Requirements We are looking for a confident and passionate individual who thrives on helping people with disabilities reach their full potential. You should believe in the importance of community engagement and robust support networks. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with diverse individuals and stakeholders. Creativity and the ability to inspire others to embrace your ideas will be highly valued. The preferred qualifications and experience for this role include: - A tertiary qualification in a health or disability-related field, such as psychology, public relations, or social work - Recent experience in supporting individuals with disabilities - A full New Zealand driver's license - Strong networking and brokerage skills - Basic computer proficiency, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook - Experience with administrative tasks Benefits At Spectrum Care, we offer competitive remuneration and support for ongoing training and education to help you grow in your career.
