About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Technician to join our dynamic Auckland team. This position presents a great opportunity to apply your technical expertise across a diverse range of projects. You will be instrumental in contributing to high-quality outcomes while collaborating with a team that is passionate about innovation and excellence. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements throughout all activities. You will prepare detailed architectural documentation using Revit and coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure that the design intent is accurately translated into documentation. You will lead and manage documentation packages across various project phases, including concept, developed design, and construction. Ensuring compliance with building codes, standards, and local regulations will be essential. Additionally, you will mentor and support junior technicians and graduates within the team, participate in quality assurance reviews, and contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation standards. Collaboration with project managers to meet deadlines and budget requirements, as well as engaging with clients and stakeholders to address technical queries, will be key aspects of your role. We expect you to demonstrate strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving while staying current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Architectural Documentation and Detailing or a related technical discipline, or demonstrate equivalent industry experience. We are looking for candidates with at least 15 years of proven experience in architectural documentation across various project types. Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows is essential, alongside experience using MasterSpec. A solid understanding of local compliance and consenting processes is necessary, as are excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a strong sense of responsibility toward team goals.
