About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Technician to join our dynamic Auckland team. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise across a variety of projects, contributing to high-quality outcomes in collaboration with a team that is passionate about innovation and excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with our organizational policies and regulatory requirements in all activities. Your tasks will include preparing detailed architectural documentation using Revit, coordinating with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure that design intent is accurately captured, and managing documentation packages through various project phases such as concept, developed design, and construction. You will also play a key role in ensuring compliance with building codes, standards, and local regulations, and will be expected to mentor and support junior technicians and graduates on our team. Additionally, you will participate in quality assurance reviews, contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation standards, and collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and budget requirements. Engaging with clients and stakeholders to resolve technical queries and support project delivery will also be part of your responsibilities. Requirements To succeed in this role, you should possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Architectural Documentation and Detailing or a related technical discipline, or have equivalent industry experience. You should have at least 15 years of proven experience in architectural documentation across various project types, along with advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows. Familiarity with MasterSpec and a good understanding of local compliance and consenting processes are also important. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with a collaborative mindset and a strong sense of responsibility toward our team’s goals.
