About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Production Manager to join our team in Wellington. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, cooking, and service of high-quality meals. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while consistently exceeding customer expectations. This position allows for a maximum of 40 hours per week.
As an accredited employer for the new Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), we are eager to assist international candidates in obtaining this visa and welcome applications from overseas.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Supervise food preparation and presentation, ensuring that ingredients are assembled, menu items are cooked to perfection, and quality control is maintained.
- Manage kitchen supplies, including receiving, storing, and rotating supplies while ensuring accurate ordering.
- Maintain consumer satisfaction by upholding hygiene standards, gathering feedback, and working to exceed expectations.
- Stay updated on industry knowledge by seeking training opportunities and enhancing your skills.
- Oversee cleaning tasks to ensure kitchen cleanliness and maintain adequate supplies.
About You
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Experienced, with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
- Team players, capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively, with a flexible approach to tasks.
- Strong communicators, possessing good communication skills and a positive demeanor under pressure.
- Physically fit and reliable, with the ability to maintain high standards of personal presentation.
- Committed to safety, with a police clearance and adherence to health and safety regulations.
