About the Role
In this role, you will be based within the Research Unit focusing on Cardiology. Your primary responsibilities will include facilitating the requirements of clinical trials and managing associated data activities. Key tasks will involve:
- Recruiting patients for selected trials
- Setting up clinical studies and conducting clinical tests and investigations
- Providing education and support to staff regarding the specifics of selected trials
- Carrying out laboratory-based procedures related to patient investigation and assessment in clinical studies
- Maintaining trial data requirements, including coordinating patient tests and appointments
- Processing research data and reporting adverse events
- Ensuring all research activities align with legislative and clinical trial requirements
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- The right to work in New Zealand, as we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position
- A demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other professionals
- Recent and relevant experience with clinical or commercial trials

Salary Range
This role is governed by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO Collective Employment Agreement, and the salary will comply with the District Health Boards' Pay Scale, ranging from $114,025 to $121,444 per annum pro-rata, depending on relevant experience.
