About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Carpenters for long-term projects in various locations, including Wellington, Auckland, Canterbury, Marlborough, and Queenstown. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of carpentry tasks, from framing to finishing, on high-end residential and commercial sites. As an Accredited Employer, we are pleased to offer visa support for eligible candidates who meet the necessary criteria. Wages The hourly wage for this position ranges from $30.00 to $35.00, depending on your experience. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week. Location This role will require travel to sites in Wellington, Auckland, Canterbury, Marlborough, and Queenstown. Our benefits include: - Weekly pay with competitive wages - Supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) - Visa support for eligible candidates What You Will Be Doing In this role, you will be responsible for a full range of carpentry tasks, including: - Framing, cladding, and finishing work on residential and commercial builds - Working from plans and specifications - Ensuring site safety and proper tool handling What We Require We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - A minimum of 3 years of proven carpentry experience - At least 12 months of recent carpentry experience in New Zealand - A trade qualification, while preferred, is not essential - A strong work ethic and reliable references - Good communication and teamwork skills - A valid Site Safe or Construct Safe certification (we can assist with this) - The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Please note that all applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
