About the Role We are currently seeking experienced and skilled Commercial Carpenters to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your carpentry expertise to execute various tasks on construction sites. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of carpentry techniques, the ability to read blueprints, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Carpentry Tasks: You will construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings will be essential to successfully executing projects. Site Preparation & Maintenance: Your duties will include measuring, cutting, and assembling materials while assisting with site setup and maintaining a clean work environment. Collaboration: You will work closely with other construction workers, ensuring a smooth workflow and effective communication on-site. Skills and Qualifications We are looking for candidates with proven experience as a carpenter in a construction setting. Proficiency in using both hand and power tools is essential, as is the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials are necessary, along with knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and carpentry techniques. Attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship are critical, as well as good communication and problem-solving skills.
