About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Structural Team Members to join our expanding Christchurch Division. In this role, you will be responsible for installing 1st and 2nd fix steel work, purlins, and trusses. Our projects vary from portal frame buildings to large-scale commercial ventures throughout New Zealand. We encourage our successful candidates to be open to cross-training with the broader construction team and to pursue further training in Carpentry when needed. Our goal is to ensure that all team members achieve a high level of competency in quality construction that aligns with our company standards and meets client satisfaction. Requirements As a vital member of our Construction team, you should possess a thorough understanding of New Zealand commercial construction methods. You will confidently apply your skills to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, eager to learn, and enjoy collaborating in a team environment. Taking ownership of your work is essential. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of two years of relevant industry experience. The following skills and attributes are also desired: - Ability to read and interpret drawings - Team player mentality - Strong attention to quality - Willingness to work away from home when necessary - Commitment to providing clients with quality service - Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand - Desirable: Rigging tickets, access tickets, and working at height certifications - Proactive approach to Health and Safety Management - Proven experience in a similar role is essential Culture and Benefits In return for your dedication and hard work, we offer a competitive salary and the opportunity to work alongside a talented and professional team.
