About the Role We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Team Leader for our Residential Services in Tauranga. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team in empowering our clients to live as independently as possible while ensuring they have a safe environment to build confidence, establish friendships, and engage with the community. This position requires flexibility, as you will work a mix of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts throughout the week. Your ability to support your team across various shifts is a key aspect of this role. What does the role involve? As a Team Leader, you will assist individuals with disabilities in achieving greater independence while also leading and motivating your team. Your daily responsibilities may include: - Facilitating meaningful and purposeful activities at home and in the community that promote independence, involving family and whānau. - Managing household duties such as meal preparation, daily care routines, and personal care. - Collaborating with your team to implement personal support plans consistently, fostering effective teamwork and communication. - Creating a warm and nurturing living environment that encourages input and feedback, enabling each person to work towards their personal goals.
