About the Role
We are currently seeking a Caregiver to join our team at the Papamoa village. In this role, you will play an essential part in ensuring our residents enjoy a safe, healthy, and fulfilling lifestyle. Your responsibilities will be diverse, focusing on providing personal care and support to enhance the daily lives of our residents.
Typical duties in this position will include:
- Delivering meals and assisting with mealtimes
- Aiding with personal hygiene, including showering
- Supporting individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
- Facilitating activities, including puzzles and table tennis
This is a permanent full-time position, featuring a roster of four nights on followed by two days off.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who are naturally empathetic, kind, and patient. A successful candidate will thrive in an environment where compassion and care significantly impact the lives of our residents.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- Experience in aged care or a similar field, along with Dementia equivalent qualifications
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
- A commitment to working the required roster pattern of four nights on and two days off
