About the Role
We are seeking an organized, motivated, and reliable Storeperson to join our Inwards Goods team. This role involves receiving, checking, and storing all incoming goods at our store. You will play a key role in maintaining our high standards for Food Safety and Health and Safety.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Unloading trucks and assessing deliveries for damage or food safety issues.
- Ensuring temperature checks are completed and properly recorded.
- Delivering stock to the appropriate departments.
- Verifying that the contents of the packing slip match what we receive.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the storeroom.
- Breaking down orders to ensure stock is moved to the correct aisles for our Grocery team to place on the shelves.
Who You Are
While experience is beneficial, we believe that attitude is paramount. To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Hold a current forklift license.
- Feel confident in rejecting orders that do not meet our standards.
- Be comfortable engaging in a physically demanding role that involves standing and heavy lifting.
- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in your work.
- Be capable of using a computer, specifically a tablet.
This is a full-time position, with hours from Tuesday to Saturday to be discussed during the interview process.
