About the Role
Position: Administrator – Operations & Workshop
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator – Operations & Workshop to join our team in Timaru. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for supporting operational and mechanical teams within our port services and engineering functions. Location: Timaru Port
Status: Full-time position, working Monday to Friday
Your job duties will include:
- Providing administrative support to the operational and workshop teams
- Managing various data entry tasks, including job numbers and employee records
- Coordinating travel, training, and third-party labor
- Liaising with suppliers and maintaining stock, including personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Handling general office tasks such as reporting, filing, and minute-taking
You will also need to possess:
- Strong administrative experience, preferably within an operational and/or workshop environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
