About the Role We are seeking a Head of Division for Surgical and Ambulatory Services on a part-time basis (0.5 FTE). This critical position will build upon the significant progress made in recent years, particularly as we prepare for our new $320 million capital project, Totara Haumaru. This facility will serve as a center for minimally invasive and robotically assisted surgery. The Head of Division will play an essential role in ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality clinical practice and patient care while utilizing our state-of-the-art 150-bed, 8-theatre facility. We are looking for an aspiring leader to join us during this exciting phase of our evolution. About You As a Senior Clinician with a recognized standing in your area of expertise, you will possess a strong desire to enhance the clinical reputation of our organization. You will be a credible leader with experience in healthcare operational strategy, holding high expectations for quality and efficiency. Your background should include mentoring, compassion, and operational governance, as well as strategic experience. In this role, effective engagement with key internal and external stakeholders will be essential to drive our services forward.
