About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Senior Medical Officer (SMO) team within the General Surgery Department. The ideal candidate will possess extensive operating experience in managing acute theatre, with a preference for those with expertise in breast and/or skin procedures.
In this role, you will be responsible for grading referrals, conducting outpatient clinics, and participating in elective and acute theatre sessions. Additionally, you will be required to be on call in accordance with the After Hours On Call Agreement.
Requirements
Candidates must hold FRACS accreditation. Employment conditions, including salary, will be aligned with the collective agreement established by the New Zealand Association of Salaried Medical Specialists.
