    About the Company We are a well-established transport repair company located in Canterbury, specializing in heavy vehicle repairs. About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled Curtainside Technician to join our team in Christchurch. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for performing quality repairs to heavy vehicle curtainsides, both in our workshop and on-site. Your work will be essential in ensuring that all jobs are completed safely, accurately, and to the highest standards. Key Duties In this position, your main responsibilities will include: - Carrying out curtainside repairs, which may involve welding, curtain installations, pelmet rubber work, and other tasks depending on your skillset. - Recording job details using SimPRO, including time spent, parts used, notes, and photographs. - Completing daily timesheets with accuracy. - Taking clear photographic records of your work, documenting the process before, during, and after repairs. - Maintaining tidy workspaces, tools, and vehicles. - Adhering to Health and Safety policies and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). - Representing the company professionally in interactions with customers. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: - Experience using hand and power tools. - A full New Zealand driver’s licence; possessing a Class 4 or 5 licence is a bonus. - Good physical fitness and attention to detail. - Solid communication and problem-solving skills. - A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. - A willingness to learn and be an effective team player.
