About the Role
We are currently looking for a skilled and proactive operator to join our afternoon shift, which runs from Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM (40 hours per week, full-time).
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC laser or plasma machines
- Monitoring equipment performance and resolving any operational issues
- Ensuring that production quality and accuracy meet established standards
- Completing documentation with an intermediate level of detail and accuracy
- Working independently while effectively managing your workload and meeting deadlines
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience operating CNC laser or plasma machines, ideally in a manufacturing environment (preferably with stainless steel)
- Forklift and gantry crane experience (preferred)
- A proven ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- A full Class 1 driver’s license with reliable transport
- Basic to intermediate computer literacy
