We are currently seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team and contribute to our ongoing projects. About the Role As a Carpenter with our company, you will play a crucial role in shaping and cutting materials to meet specified measurements. Your responsibilities will include following established safety protocols, maintaining a clean work environment, and measuring and marking cutting lines accurately. You will install various structures and fixtures, verify the alignment of your work, and build or repair wooden fixtures used in buildings. Additionally, you will be responsible for selecting and ordering materials, assembling frameworks, and performing inspections to identify any damaged areas that need attention. This role may require you to work across different locations in New Zealand, so flexibility in work assignments is preferred. Requirements To be considered for this position, you should have at least two years of relevant experience in carpentry or possess a relevant qualification. A strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and skill development are essential. You should also have a sound knowledge of health and safety procedures, along with a reliable and hardworking attitude. Benefits We offer a competitive pay range, with a minimum of $26.00 per hour and the potential to earn up to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience. A guaranteed minimum of 30 hours of work per week is also provided. Location The primary work locations for this role will be in Auckland, Waikato, Northland, Nelson, Canterbury, and Otago.
