About the Role
In this key leadership position, you will oversee our field staff of approximately 20 team members, fostering a supportive and high-performing team culture. You will empower our teams to achieve excellent results across all on-site maintenance services and projects.
Your responsibilities will include managing quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding health and safety standards. Additionally, you will support profit and loss management while contributing to the overall commercial success of the company. As a trusted representative of Busy Lizzy Gardens, you will build and maintain strong client relationships on-site.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have at least three years of experience in people leadership roles with financial accountability. A background in landscaping or in outdoor, client-facing service delivery operations would be advantageous.
We are looking for a genuine team player who can lead effectively, nurture culture, and inspire those around them. A solid understanding of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management, is essential. Familiarity with New Zealand health and safety legislation and its practical application is also required.
You should possess good commercial acumen, with the confidence to contribute to budget management and financial outcomes. Strong communication skills are vital, as you will be leading from the front.
