About the Company We are an Auckland-based company seeking a full-time Truck Driver to join our dedicated team. Our focus is on delivering outstanding services and products to the community. About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for operating our company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner. You will drive throughout the Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Hawke’s Bay, and Wanganui, with your workday starting and ending in Auckland. Your working hours will range from a minimum of 30 hours to a maximum of 35 hours per week, with shifts scheduled from Monday to Sunday according to a roster. We offer a competitive salary that can be negotiated based on your experience, ranging from $28 to $36 per hour. Key Responsibilities - Operate the company vehicle safely and responsibly. - Adhere to speed limits and wear a seatbelt while driving. - Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules. - Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions. - Understand emergency procedures and manage hazardous conditions appropriately. - Maintain a solid understanding of health and safety regulations, including logbook requirements. - Conduct routine checks on your truck. - Be available for rotational shifts, including day and night work, as part of a 24/7 operation. Requirements - A minimum of one year of relevant driving experience. - A clean New Zealand Class 5 driving license or an equivalent driver license. - Knowledge of operating a manual gearbox. - Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job. - Flexibility to drive on weekends and public holidays as needed. - A positive attitude and strong work ethic. - A clean character background.
