About the Role
In this role, you will support the Branch Manager in managing the operational requirements of the branch. You will lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer engagement and effective solution-selling practices. Your responsibilities will include providing sales support to all branch customers, coordinating with internal sales teams for contract sales fulfillment, and offering operational cover for the Branch Manager and senior staff when they are off-site.
You will also focus on building and maintaining relationships with our procurement and demand management teams. Additional tasks will include managing documentation processes such as filling out dockets, checking pricing, and ensuring all dockets are approved and signed off. You will be responsible for completing administrative tasks in accordance with our Branch Performance Standards, including invoicing, inventory receipting, and credits. Furthermore, you will operate a forklift to move products around the site and store them according to required standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent customer service skills and demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and a customer-focused mindset. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. An advanced knowledge of Hynds products and their applications is highly desirable, along with a solid understanding of overall infrastructure, particularly in three waters. Experience or qualifications in the infrastructure or civil industry will be advantageous.
A full class 1 New Zealand driver’s license and an F endorsement are required, as well as the ability to physically handle and move products weighing up to 20 kg.
