    About the Company At Te Whetu Tawera (TWT), we are committed to providing exceptional care in our 58-bed acute inpatient mental health unit located at Auckland City Hospital. Situated near the picturesque Auckland City Domain and close to the scenic harbour and city centre, we enjoy convenient access to public transport, including buses and trains. About the Role We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated team at TWT. In this full-time position, you will work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. This role is vital in supporting the recovery journey of Tangata Whaiora and enhancing their overall health outcomes. You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with occupational therapists, kaiatawahi, families, health professionals, and NGO staff. Your contributions will help create positive experiences and diverse perspectives in the recovery process. Requirements The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in mental health and possess excellent interpersonal skills. This role demands a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is committed to teamwork and has strong organizational and time management abilities. Your expertise and passion for occupational therapy will play a crucial role in the lives of those we serve.
