About the Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our high-performing kitchen team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in our fast-paced kitchen, where creativity, consistency, and leadership are paramount. You will collaborate closely with the Head Chef on menu development, maintain high culinary standards, and support the coaching and development of junior team members.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably within a hotel or upscale dining environment
- A strong background in À La Carte service, with keen attention to detail and presentation
- Experience in menu development, training junior chefs, and upholding high food safety standards
- Exposure to events, conferences, or large-format dining is highly desirable
- A flexible attitude, with availability on weekends and public holidays
