In this vital role, you will play an essential part in the daily operations of our kitchen. Your support will enable our chefs to provide nutritious and high-quality meals for our residents and visitors. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for various tasks, including: - Assisting with basic food preparation, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients - Helping with the plating and presentation of meals - Operating dishwashers and ensuring all kitchenware is properly sanitized - Maintaining cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas while adhering to compliance standards - Receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries, along with managing stock rotation This position is casual and will be on an 'as and when required' basis. We are looking for someone who can be available during weekdays between 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM to cover absences. Requirements To excel in this role, you should be approachable, reliable, and a team player with a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to contribute to a high-performing kitchen.
