About the Role We are currently seeking a Teacher-in-Training who is pursuing a New Zealand-recognized Level 7 qualification in Early Childhood Education. This role is ideal for a second or third-year student who has experience writing learning stories, as this will be an integral part of your responsibilities. As a Teacher-in-Training, you will collaborate with our experienced kaiako to deliver high-quality care and education to our tamariki. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a hands-on setting, develop your skills, and receive valuable mentorship throughout your teaching journey. This full-time, fixed-term position is approximately 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We are flexible with scheduling for the right candidate. The position will cover parental leave and is set to begin in June 2025, lasting until February 2026. You will primarily work with our 3 and 4-year-old tamariki, focusing on our "Set for School" program, which prepares children for their transition to primary school.
