We are a well-established and whānau-focused early childhood center dedicated to providing an enriching environment for our tamariki. Our team is committed to nurturing the growth and development of young children as they transition to school. We believe in fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, and we are looking for a new member to join our dedicated preschool team.
About the Role
We are seeking a warm, vibrant, and self-driven Kaiako to work in our dedicated preschool room. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. The work schedule offers flexibility to cover 8-hour shifts between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
To be considered for this role, you must be an ECE qualified and registered Teacher with a current New Zealand provisional or full practicing certificate. Candidates must also hold New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Kaiako who shares our enthusiasm for the local curriculum and is passionate about:
- Creating inspiring environments for learning
- Building partnerships with parents and whānau
- Providing fun-filled learning experiences for tamariki
- Offering respectful care as a core teaching practice
If you have a solid understanding of the developmental and emotional needs of preschoolers aged between 4 and 5 years old, we encourage you to apply.
