Are you a newly qualified, certificated teacher eager to embark on your early childhood career? At BestStart Nottingham Avenue, we are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate teacher to become a part of our dedicated toddler team, focusing on children aged 2 to 3 years. This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday. About the Company
BestStart Nottingham Avenue is situated in a peaceful residential area and has been a trusted part of the local community for many years. Our centre offers quality care and education for tamariki aged 3 months to 6 years, organized across three age-appropriate classrooms. Each room, including our toddler space, connects to its own outdoor area, creating a natural and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and develop meaningful connections. Requirements
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Enthusiastic about working with toddlers aged 2 to 3 years
- Hold a Bachelor of Education or Diploma of Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
- Ready to bring fresh ideas and energy to our team
- Willing to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a nurturing, inclusive environment
- Committed to child-led learning and the principles of Te Whāriki
- Respectful of and engaged with Te Tiriti o Waitangi
