About the Role
We are seeking Scaffolders to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized, trustworthy, and motivated, with a strong focus on achieving results. As a Scaffolder, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects across the country, so flexibility regarding work locations is essential.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for construction projects, as well as constructing stands and tiered seating for public events such as concerts and sports events.
- Inspecting areas requiring scaffolding and making calculations to determine the necessary scaffolding type.
- Unloading scaffolding materials, fitting tubing and braces together to form frameworks, and installing ladder rails and other attachments.
- Checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment, inspecting scaffolding structures for safety, and dismantling scaffolding upon project completion.
- Performing any additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should ideally have:
- A minimum of one year of relevant scaffolding experience or a qualification equivalent to NZQF level 2 or 3.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good time management abilities, and a solid work ethic.
- Commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industry.
- A sound knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Reliability and a hardworking attitude.
Benefits
We offer competitive pay conditions ranging from a minimum of $26.00 per hour to a maximum of $32.00 per hour. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours of work each week.
As a full-time, permanent position, you may be required to work in various locations throughout New Zealand, including but not limited to Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Whanganui-Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
