Parts Warehouse Controller

Our business strategy is centered on a commitment to growth and development, both in our products and our team members. About the Role We are currently seeking a Parts Storeperson to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Parts Manager and play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and efficient parts inventory management and supply. You will also be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while adhering to best practice operational guidelines. Your duties will include: - Receipting inbound stock orders - Dispatching customer orders - Maintaining stock levels - Liaising with freight providers and parts and service teams - Conducting stock takes as required - Performing general housekeeping duties within the parts department - Assisting with other tasks as needed Please note that some lifting is required for this position. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria: - A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry, though this is not essential - A solid understanding of parts department procedures, particularly in inventory management - Strong communication skills, along with numeracy and computer literacy - High attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently to meet deadlines - A customer-first attitude, with confidence in dealing with a diverse range of customers, both internal and external - Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding is a plus, but not required - A current forklift license Benefits We offer a competitive salary, medical insurance, and KiwiSaver contributions to support your financial well-being.
