About the Role
We are looking for an in-house automotive parts expert to join our North Shore Toyota parts team, which specializes in both genuine parts and performance parts. This role primarily involves assisting our retail and trade customers and supporting our Service department.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to continually expand your knowledge of automotive parts while adapting to the evolving industry landscape. You will also collaborate with our broader Parts business, which consists of four different hubs around Auckland, providing additional support as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and managing parts orders
- Assisting retail and trade customers via in-person interactions, email, and phone
- Caring for and maintaining stock
- Supporting the Service department

Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- A minimum of one year of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in parts
- At least one year of customer service experience in any industry, with a strong enthusiasm for engaging with customers
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite
- Familiarity with Microcat and/or TUNZ is preferred, but not essential
- A quick learner who can adapt to new technologies
- A team player who enjoys connecting with others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A positive mindset with a problem-solving approach
