About the Role
We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Team Leader for our Residential Home located in Auckland. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team in helping our clients achieve greater independence while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Your efforts will enable clients to build confidence, establish friendships, and engage meaningfully within the community.
The position will require flexibility, as shifts will vary throughout the week, including morning, afternoon, and evening hours. Your ability to support your team across these different shifts is essential.
What does the role involve?
As a Team Leader, your primary objective will be to assist individuals with disabilities in living as independently as possible while also leading and motivating your team. Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Facilitating meaningful activities both at home and in the community that promote independence and involve family.
- Managing household duties such as meal preparation, daily care routines, and personal care.
- Collaborating with your team to implement personal support plans consistently, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Creating a warm and nurturing living environment where feedback is welcomed, allowing each individual to work towards their personal goals.
