Located in a serene area of Birkenhead, we focus on creating a warm and welcoming environment where our residents can thrive. About the Role We are currently seeking a House Supervisor for a part-time, weekend-only position. This role is essential in ensuring the comfort and care of our residents. The working hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM, totaling 10 hours each week. As a House Supervisor, you will support our residents with meal planning and preparation, organize weekly shopping, and maintain cleanliness in communal areas. You will also play a crucial role in encouraging wellbeing and independence through engaging social and recreational activities. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications: - Confident cooking skills - A full, clean driver's license - Empathy, patience, and a positive, caring nature - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational abilities, self-motivated, and capable of working independently - A First Aid Certificate (or a willingness to obtain one) - Experience in aged care or a relevant qualification is an advantage Benefits At Selwyn House, you will be part of a supportive team that values connection and community.
