About the Company
At NZCL, we are committed to supporting individuals with disabilities across New Zealand. Our Disability Support Services embody our core belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live fully, enjoy equal opportunities, and pursue their ambitions. We understand that our teams are our greatest asset, and we are dedicated to hiring and training exceptional individuals to fulfill this mission.
About the Role

You will work as part of a dedicated team, providing 24/7 support through shifts or specific rosters, with the possibility of additional sleepover payments included in some schedules.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about helping others and who possess kindness and understanding. While previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly with disabilities and challenging behaviors, is preferred, we welcome candidates who demonstrate the following qualities:
- A full driver's license is essential.
- An energetic, outgoing personality with the ability to motivate others towards their goals.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends.
- Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness, as the individuals we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
Benefits
In return for your dedication and commitment, we offer competitive pay rates ranging from $23.50 to $29.10 per hour, along with a variety of shifts. You will also have the opportunity to earn while you learn with free training towards NZQA Health and Wellbeing qualifications. Additional benefits include access to an Employee Assistance Program for health and wellbeing support and a 'Refer a Friend' bonus.
