About the Role We currently have several Caregiver positions available at Diana Isaac Retirement Village in Mairehau, Christchurch. We are looking for empathetic individuals who are dedicated to creating a wonderful environment for our residents and team members. To qualify for this role, you must meet one of the following requirements: - Hold a Level 3 Health and Wellbeing certificate or equivalent, along with two years of relevant experience - Hold a Level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate or equivalent In this position, you will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, which may include shifts on weekends. The hourly wage ranges from $27.88 to $31.16, depending on your experience. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Providing care and personal assistance as outlined in the care plan and under the guidance of a Registered Nurse - Observing and promptly reporting any changes in a resident's status or behavior to the Registered Nurse or senior staff - Ensuring the safety, privacy, and comfort of residents at all times - Demonstrating compassion by understanding residents' needs and providing appropriate support - Documenting care provided to residents in an objective and timely manner If you feel that you would be a great fit for our team, we encourage you to apply online.
