About the Role
We are currently seeking four Duty Managers to join our Auckland team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with people, and are ready to lead by example, we encourage you to explore this opportunity.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of hospitality experience, with a strong ability to lead a team while ensuring compliance with New Zealand Liquor Licensing laws.
- A current LCQ (Liquor Control Qualification) and Manager’s Certificate.
- Proven confidence in managing shifts and adhering to compliance with NZ liquor regulations.
- Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster, including weekends.
- A genuine passion for creating outstanding customer experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the capability to coach and support others.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations and lead the team during all service periods.
- Maintain compliance with NZ liquor licensing laws and health and safety regulations.
- Focus on wage and cost of goods (COG) targets to enhance profitability and ensure staffing aligns with sales activity.
- Handle opening and closing procedures, cashing up, and completing operational reports.
- Actively support team development and provide service training.
- Engage with guests, manage complaints, and ensure the venue upholds high standards of presentation and service.
- Contribute to achieving venue targets, team incentives, and company initiatives.
