About the Role
Our Endocrinology Service, part of the Adult Community and Long-Term Conditions Directorate, is seeking a Senior Medical Officer (SMO) for a permanent, part-time role (0.13 FTE), which equates to approximately five hours per week. In this position, you will provide specialized outpatient consultations in endocrinology and supervise registrar and student trainees as part of a rostered team.
Your responsibilities will include offering clinic services to patients with a wide range of endocrinology conditions. For more detailed information about the role, please refer to the position description.
About You
The ideal candidate will be registered (or eligible for registration) with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) and hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) specializing in Endocrinology.
