About the Company We are a reputable local contractor based in Christchurch, actively engaged in various projects throughout the Christchurch CBD and the Selwyn subdivisions. About the Role We are seeking competent All-Rounders to operate a variety of machinery, specifically looking for digger operators, civil labourers, and Class 4 truck drivers with WTR (wheels, tracks, rollers) endorsements. The roles we are hiring for include: All-Round Operator: We need individuals who are confident in operating machinery across a range of sites. Experience in drainage work is preferred. Civil Class 4 Truck Driver with WTR: This position entails not only driving but also performing labouring tasks as needed. You may operate a loader and transport other equipment. Prior experience driving on civil worksites is essential. Civil Labourer: Candidates should have experience on civil or drainage sites. Ideally, you will hold WTR and/or a Class 2 license for driving a small tipper. Additional responsibilities will include plate compaction, shoveling, and assisting drainlayers and other team members on-site. These roles offer immediate starts for successful candidates, with the potential for long-term temporary to permanent opportunities.
