About the Role We are looking for dedicated Hydro Excavation Operators who enjoy a physically active work environment where no two days are alike. This position involves operating high-pressure water equipment to safely break up soil and vacuuming debris from various worksites. You will need to be comfortable with hands-on, gritty work, as well as managing your truck, equipment, and paperwork to a high standard. Key responsibilities include: - Operating high-pressure water equipment to efficiently break up soil - Vacuuming and carefully removing debris from worksites - Working around sensitive underground infrastructure and services - Maintaining and managing your truck and equipment Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications: - Previous experience in hydro excavation or civil/drainage work - A full, clean Class 2 or 4 NZ driver's licence - Physical fitness and capability for manual work - Comfort with outdoor work in various weather conditions - Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening along with a Ministry of Justice check - Strong communication skills and a focus on teamwork - Reliability, a safety-conscious mindset, and enthusiasm for the job What We're Looking For We value experienced, enthusiastic individuals who are ready to join a supportive and down-to-earth team.
