We are currently expanding our team and are seeking five skilled Tipper Truck Drivers to join us in Auckland. This role is vital to our operations, as you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of construction materials, such as asphalt and aggregate, to and from various project sites.
About the Role
As a Tipper Truck Driver at Atranz Limited, you will operate Class 4 tipper trucks while adhering to road and company regulations. Your main responsibilities will include loading, transporting, and unloading construction materials, conducting daily vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate delivery records. You will work closely with site supervisors, dispatchers, and fellow team members to ensure timely project completion while following all health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 4 tipper trucks in compliance with road and company regulations.
- Load, transport, and unload asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials to designated locations.
- Perform daily inspections to verify that the truck is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including timesheets and delivery logs.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, dispatchers, and other team members to meet project timelines.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain cleanliness and conduct basic maintenance of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations on-site.
Key Requirements
- A New Zealand Full Class 4 or equivalent driver’s license.
- Knowledge of road regulations and heavy vehicle operation.
- Physically fit and capable of handling repetitive tasks, including manual unloading as needed.
- Flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, weekends, and overtime.
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance with company and legal standards.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Willingness to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
Benefits
