About the Role
We are currently seeking a full-time POOL staff member for a position that entails working 80 hours per fortnight. In this role, you will cover various shifts across multiple homes, filling in for staff on leave or attending training. While your shift pattern may vary from week to week, we ensure that you receive your schedule of 80 hours at least two weeks in advance. Flexibility is key, as you must be available for both morning and evening shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need a genuine passion for supporting others and a friendly, patient demeanor. An understanding of the Enabling Good Lives principles is essential, along with the ability to effectively communicate and connect with individuals. We value professionalism, honesty, and reliability, as well as a flexible approach to teamwork.
You should also possess energy and enthusiasm for being part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities may include assisting with personal care when required. A full New Zealand Driver Licence is necessary, as driving a MASH van is part of your duties. Additionally, having a New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or a commitment to pursuing this qualification, funded by MASH Trust, is required.
