About the Role
We are currently seeking an Application Administrator (ACTOR) to join our technical team and support the payroll rostering application. In this role, you will focus on three main areas:
1. Managing time and attendance rules within our rostering system.
2. Developing system functionalities to improve efficiency and implement best practices.
3. Providing support, training, and advice on all aspects of rostering.
This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring 80 hours of work per fortnight from Monday to Friday. The role will be based at the Richmond Health Hub, although it is employed under Nelson Hospital.
About the Team/Service/Location
Our payroll team consists of seven Payroll Officers and three Payroll Technical staff. With nearly 3,200 employees, we are the largest employer in Nelson and Marlborough, which provides extensive career opportunities. Our main locations include Nelson and Wairau Hospitals, as well as the Richmond and Marlborough Health Hubs, and we serve the entire community across the region. About You
As an ideal candidate for the Application Administrator (ACTOR) position, you should possess:
- A genuine interest in rostering within a large, complex organization.
- A passion for technical support and security management.
- Strong administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to interpret complex employment agreement terms.
- Proven self-direction while working within a small team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in engaging and developing employees' skills related to new technology across varying levels of IT competency.
- A demonstrated ability to foster collaboration with stakeholders.
To qualify for this role, candidates must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid New Zealand visa at the time of application.
