About the Role
We are seeking a casual Orderly/Security Orderly to join our team at Hutt Hospital. This dynamic role involves a range of responsibilities, including the transportation of patients, medical records, equipment, and clinical waste to designated areas within the hospital.

About the Team/Service Location
Our Hutt Valley Security Orderlies are dedicated to creating a safe and secure environment for both patients and staff at Te Whatu Ora Hutt Valley. With a strong commitment to care, they embody our core values of compassion and a proactive attitude. Every interaction reflects our dedication to excellence in customer service. Our security team collaborates effectively with other health professionals, respecting the rights and cultural needs of all individuals to enhance the overall experience and well-being of those we serve.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should be a reliable and conscientious individual seeking a fulfilling job opportunity. Given the nature of the position, strong customer service skills are essential, as well as the ability to meet set timeframes and handle the physical demands associated with the role.
Previous experience in a healthcare environment or a similar role would be advantageous. Please note that this casual position does not offer fixed hours; staff will be contacted as needed. Successful candidates must be prepared to undergo 12-14 weeks of paid full-time training to ensure readiness for the responsibilities of the role.
