About the Role
We are currently seeking a Nurse Coordinator for our Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) program at the Integrated Operations Centre, based at Whangarei Hospital. This permanent part-time position entails working 36 hours per week.
In this role, you will support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the TrendCare patient acuity system across Health NZ - Te Whatu Ora in Te Tai Tokerau. A key responsibility will be to provide development, coordination, and facilitation of Nursing and Midwifery informatics. You will also lead initiatives in nursing and midwifery informatics policy and practice, ensuring that they are informed by the best available evidence.

About You
To be considered for this role, you should be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate and a minimum of three years of post-registration experience.
You will also need to possess a relevant Post Graduate Diploma and a Certificate in Adult/Clinical Teaching. A Designated Senior Nurse PDRP or Expert PDRP demonstrating clinical examples is required. A current New Zealand Driver's Licence, along with demonstrated teaching and coaching skills, is essential.
We are looking for someone who can work independently as well as part of a team, enhancing the capability and contributions of team members. You should also have the ability to articulate evidence-based nursing and midwifery advice to the wider healthcare team.
