About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Charge Nurse to provide clinical expertise and leadership for our Intensive Care Unit team. In this role, you will manage the daily operations of service delivery, ensuring that our practices contribute to improved patient experiences and health outcomes while aligning with our organizational values.

About You
We are looking for an experienced ICU nurse who approaches challenges with professionalism and positivity. You should be able to maintain composure under pressure and possess the emotional intelligence necessary to manage and support the clinical nursing team during shifts. As a role model for our organizational values, you will lead and support the nursing team around the clock, ensuring high-quality care.
Requirements
- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- Postgraduate certificate or diploma in specialty nursing practice
- Progress towards completion of a Master's Degree
- A minimum of five years of post-registration experience in a relevant nursing specialty
- Proven effectiveness in delegation and supervision of nursing staff
- Strong leadership and patient/client management skills
