- Providing mentorship and oversight to the nursing and healthcare support team.
- Collaborating with 9-15 General Practitioners and a regional leadership network.
- Driving nurse-led clinics and championing quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinating service delivery while aligning with equity and access targets.
- Contributing to ongoing service innovation and improvements within the health system.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth clinic operations, balancing patient flow, workforce planning, clinical standards, and supporting the professional development of your team.
Requirements
To thrive in this position, you will need:
- Registration as a Nurse in New Zealand with at least 5 years of clinical experience.
- A minimum of 2 years in a leadership or team management role.
- Active certifications in vaccination and smear taking.
- Strong knowledge of population and public health frameworks.
- Experience in delivering nurse-led services, particularly in women's health or general practice.
- Proficiency with Medtech Evolution or a similar practice management system.
- A background in cervical screening, immunization leadership, or a pathway towards RN prescribing in community health will be considered advantageous.
Benefits
We believe in fostering internal development, and our leadership team is committed to promoting from within. This practice offers:
- Supported and funded pathways for Prescribers and Nurse Practitioners.
- A focus on equity, with a commitment to improving health outcomes for Māori.
- Full access to postgraduate study, regional clinical support, and structured Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- A competitive salary that reflects your experience and contributions to the clinic.
- Part-time hours with flexibility to accommodate your needs, your family, and your team.
