About the Role We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Senior Recruitment Advisor to join our team at Hawke's Bay Hospital on a permanent full-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in recruiting Mental Health Clinicians, Allied Health Professionals, and Administration staff. Your contributions will directly support the achievement of national health targets. As a Senior Recruitment Advisor, you will provide both strategic and operational recruitment guidance to our people leaders. You will ensure a candidate-centric recruitment process that creates a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring junior team members and leading portfolio-specific projects and recruitment events. Key Responsibilities - Manage the full recruitment process from sourcing candidates to onboarding. - Collaborate closely with clinicians to understand the specific vacancies you are addressing. - Deliver recruitment services that align with workforce strategies and professional registration requirements. - Provide advice on sourcing and candidate attraction strategies. - Coach hiring managers on best practices in recruitment and assessment methods. - Ensure timely communication and support for candidates throughout the recruitment process. - Participate in health sector employment initiatives and recruitment events. - Engage effectively in face-to-face communication with a wide range of stakeholders. - Utilize social media platforms as a strategic tool for recruitment and employer branding. About the Team/Service/Location Our recruitment team, based in Hawke's Bay, is dedicated to attracting skilled Mental Health Clinicians, Allied Health Professionals, and Administration staff to support Health New Zealand. About You To excel in this role, you will need: - A tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience in a senior recruitment or talent role. - A minimum of five years of relevant experience in an advisory position in recruitment. - Knowledge of New Zealand legislation and its application in a large, complex organization. - Experience in the public health sector is preferred. - Strong relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders. - A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
