About the Role We are currently seeking a Relief Support Co-Ordinator to join our Secretarial Services team on a fixed-term, full-time basis (80 hours per fortnight). In this role, you will provide professional, efficient, and timely secretarial and administrative support across our health services. Your responsibilities will include managing documentation, coordinating referrals, assisting with records management, and providing support to both patients and staff in a dynamic hospital environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is motivated to support clinical teams in delivering excellent care. You will collaborate closely with the Secretarial Services Manager and General Managers across various departments, playing a crucial role in service delivery and continuity. Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information sensitively are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a requirement for this role. About the Team/Service/Location Our Secretarial Services team is integral to the smooth and efficient operation of our hospital. About You As a Relief Support Co-Ordinator, you will bring: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar administrative or secretarial role - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask - Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals - A commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equitable health outcomes - Experience in the health sector, with knowledge of ECA or Winscribe being advantageous - Experience in scheduling and arranging meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items Working at Health New Zealand At Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, we are dedicated to providing excellent healthcare for all New Zealanders.
