About the Role
We are looking for skilled Scaffolders to become part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for construction projects. Additionally, you may work on constructing stands and tiered seating for public events such as concerts and sporting events.
You will be tasked with inspecting areas that require scaffolding, making necessary calculations to determine the appropriate scaffolding needed. This includes unloading materials, fitting tubing and braces together to create frameworks, and installing ladders, rails, and other attachments.
Safety is a priority, so you will also check and maintain scaffolding equipment, inspect structures for safety, and dismantle scaffolding once the project is completed. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of one year of relevant scaffolding experience or a qualification equivalent to NZQF level 2 or 3.
We value individuals who are friendly, possess good time management skills, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. A commitment to continuous learning and skill development within the industry is essential. You should also have a sound knowledge of health and safety procedures, along with a reliable and hardworking attitude.
Benefits
The pay for this role ranges from a minimum of $26.00 per hour to a maximum of $32.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week, and you may be required to work in various locations throughout New Zealand, including Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Whanganui-Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland. This is a permanent, full-time position.
